As a Meat Cutter at Costco, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat for sale. You will ensure that meat products are of high quality, properly labeled, and displayed attractively. Your role is essential in providing customers with fresh and high-quality meat products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat.
- Ensure meat products are properly labeled and displayed.
- Maintain a clean and organized meat cutting area.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing meat supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet meat department production targets.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a meat cutter or butcher preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meat cuts and preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
